VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) is looking for qualified, experienced, and dynamic professionals for the following positions. The positions shall be filled on a merit basis on a contract, renewable subject to satisfactory performance.

Available Positions

1. Chief Financial Officer

  • Duty Station: Head Office, Karachi (KHI)

  • Number of Positions: 01

  • Age Limit: 45 Years

  • Qualification & Experience:

    • Master's degree in Finance or related disciplines from a university recognized by HEC.

    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

2. Chief Internal Auditor

  • Duty Station: Head Office, Karachi (KHI)

  • Number of Positions: 01

  • Age Limit: 45 Years

  • Qualification & Experience:

    • A recognized professional accounting body qualification (CA/CPA/ACMA/ACCA/MBA Finance) from a reputed local or international university/institute.

    • Minimum of 5 years documented relevant experience in auditing, risk management, designing internal control procedures, and ensuring effective compliance and financial reliability, preferably in SOEs or the public sector.

3. Manager Projects

  • Duty Station: Head Office, Karachi (KHI)

  • Number of Positions: 01

  • Age Limit: 45 Years

  • Qualification & Experience:

    • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by HEC.

    • For Master's Degree Holders: 7 years of overall work experience, including 3 years of relevant experience in project planning within a public sector company.

    • For Bachelor's Degree Holders: 10 years of overall work experience, including 3 years of relevant experience in project planning within a public sector company.

4. Management Associate Admin/Accounts (Projects)

  • Duty Station: Project at Karachi (KHI)

  • Number of Positions: 01

  • Age Limit: 45 Years

  • Qualification & Experience:

    • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by HEC.

    • For Master's Degree Holders: 5 years of relevant work experience.

    • For Bachelor's Degree Holders: 7 years of relevant work experience in managing administrative and financial affairs.

5. Laser Marking Technician

  • Duty Station: Project at Lahore (LHR)

  • Number of Positions: 01

  • Age Limit: 45 Years

  • Qualification & Experience:

    • B-Tech/DAE (Mechanical/Electrical)

    • For B-Tech Holders: 5 years of relevant work experience.

    • For DAE Holders: 2 years of relevant work experience in operating and maintaining jewelry laser marking machines.

6. XRF Technician

  • Duty Station: Project at Lahore (LHR)

  • Number of Positions: 01

  • Age Limit: 45 Years

  • Qualification & Experience:

    • B-Tech/DAE (Mechanical/Electrical)

    • For B-Tech Holders: 5 years of relevant work experience.

    • For DAE Holders: 2 years of relevant work experience in operating and maintaining jewelry XRF machines.

7. Gemologist

  • Duty Station: Project at Lahore (LHR)

  • Number of Positions: 01

  • Age Limit: 45 Years

  • Qualification & Experience:

    • Master’s degree in Geology.

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in gemstone testing and identification.

    • Diploma in Gemology would be an added advantage.

8. Assistant Manager Admin/Accounts (Projects)

  • Number of Positions: 01

  • Age Limit: 45 Years

  • Qualification & Experience:

    • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by HEC.

    • For Master's Degree Holders: 5 years of relevant experience.

    • For Bachelor's Degree Holders: 7 years of relevant experience in handling administrative and financial affairs.
