PAKISTAN CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY (PCAA)

OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME A PART OF PCAA'S PROFESSIONAL TEAM

SITUATION VACANT NOTICE NO. 12/2024

The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority is seeking qualified individuals to fill the following vacant positions. Selection will be based purely on suitability and merit.

1. Assistant Director Airworthiness (Aerospace) (EG-01)

  • Number of Positions: 2
  • Qualifications & Experience:
    • Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering from an HEC recognized university with at least 2nd Division.
    • Must hold a valid PCAA Aircraft Maintenance License (AML).
    • Must have valid PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) Registration.
  • Quota: Merit - 02
  • Pay Scale: 56,280-5,630-168,880
  • Age Limit: 28 years

2. Assistant Director Airworthiness (Avionics) (EG-01)

  • Number of Positions: 2
  • Qualifications & Experience:
    • Bachelors in Avionics Engineering from an HEC recognized university with at least 2nd Division.
    • Must hold a valid PCAA AML.
    • Must have valid PEC Registration.
  • Quota: Merit - 02
  • Pay Scale: 56,280-5,630-168,880
  • Age Limit: 28 years

3. Sr. Deputy Director Airworthiness (Avionics) (EG-04)

  • Number of Positions: 2
  • Qualifications & Experience:
    • Bachelors in Avionics Engineering from an HEC recognized university with at least 2nd Division.
    • Must hold a valid PCAA AML.
    • Must have valid PEC Registration.
    • Airworthiness Management Experience preferred.
  • Quota: Merit - 02
  • Pay: Lump sum of 286,300/- per month (negotiable) with a 5% annual increment.
  • Contract: 03 years (extendable)
  • Age Limit: 35 years (including all age relaxations)

4. Sr. Deputy Director Airworthiness (Aerospace) (EG-04)

  • Number of Positions: 2
  • Qualifications & Experience:
    • Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering from an HEC recognized university with at least 2nd Division.
    • Must hold a valid PCAA AML.
    • Must have valid PEC Registration.
    • Five years of Airworthiness Management Experience required.
  • Quota: Merit - 02
  • Pay: Lump sum of 286,300/- per month (negotiable) with a 5% annual increment.
  • Contract: 03 years (extendable)
  • Age Limit: 35 years (including all age relaxations)

Application Procedure:

(a) Interested candidates must fill and submit the Online Job Application Form available at www.caapakistan.com.pk within fifteen days from the date of this advertisement.

(b) Candidates must upload scanned copies of certificates/degrees relevant to the qualifications mentioned above, along with their CNIC.

(c) Applications lacking the required documents will be rejected.

Terms of Reference:

  1. Incomplete applications or those not meeting the requirements will not be considered.
  2. Tests/Interviews will be conducted in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta. Separate notices will be issued depending on the number of candidates.
  3. Candidates called for interviews must present original documents for verification.
  4. Age relaxation will be allowed as per Federal Government rules for posts at Sr. No. 1 & 2.
  5. Successful candidates for Sr. No. 1 & 2 must execute a surety bond of Rs.2,500,000/- to serve in PCAA for at least 10 years.
  6. No TA/DA will be admissible for tests/interviews.
  7. Appointment is subject to CAA's medical fitness standards.
  8. Selected candidates must be willing to serve anywhere in Pakistan.
  9. Government servants or employees of autonomous bodies/corporations must submit an NOC from their current employer before the interview.
  10. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
  11. Misrepresentation or attempts to influence the selection process will result in disqualification from current and future PCAA recruitments.
  12. Providing incorrect, fake, or bogus documents at any stage will result in immediate termination of services.
