General Requirements for All Candidates

• Nationality: Pakistani (Males only)
• Marital Status: Unmarried
• Vision: 6/6 without glasses
• Physical Tests: All candidates must pass the physical fitness test, including:
  • Chin-ups: 4
  • Push-ups: 20
  • Reach-ups: 15
  • 1-mile run: 8 minutes

Eligibility Criteria for Each Category

1. Aero Trades

• Age: 15 to 20 years (by 30 June 2025)
• Height: 163 to 188 cm
• Educational Qualification:
  • Matriculation in Science with at least 60% marks
  • Minimum 33% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
  • Minimum 47% marks in English

2. PF&DI (Physical Fitness & Drill Instructor)

• Age: 16 to 22 years (by 29 December 2025)
• Height: 178 to 188 cm
• Educational Qualification:
  • Matriculation in Science with at least 80% marks
  • Minimum 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
  • Minimum 50% marks in English
• Additional Requirement: Candidates must have loud and clear voice command for the command test.

3. MTD (Mechanical Transport Driver)

• Age: 17 to 24 years (for LTV/HTV license holders)
• Height: 168 to 188 cm
• Educational Qualification:
  • Matriculation in Science with at least 50% marks
  • Minimum 45% marks in English
• Additional Requirement: Valid LTV/HTV driving license.

4. Firefighter

• Age: 17 to 22 years (by 30 June 2025)
• Height: 175 to 188 cm
• Educational Qualification:
  • Matriculation in Science with at least 55% marks
  • Minimum 45% marks in English

5. Sportsman

• Age: 15 to 20 years (by 30 June 2025)
• Height: 163 to 188 cm
• Educational Qualification:
  • Matriculation in Science with at least 60% marks
  • Minimum 33% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
  • Minimum 47% marks in English
• Additional Requirement: Candidates who have represented their district, province, or national-level sports will be considered with a minimum of 47% overall marks in matriculation.

Special Relaxations

Candidates from the following areas may apply with relaxed criteria:

1. Rural Areas of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir:
   • Minimum 50% marks in Matriculation
   • Minimum 33% marks in English
2. FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Balochistan:
   • Minimum 40% marks in Matriculation
   • Minimum 33% marks in English
3. Quetta District:
   • Minimum 50% marks in Matriculation
   • Minimum 40% marks in English

Selection Procedure

1. Registration: Candidates must register online at www.joinpaf.gov.pk.
2. Initial Examination:
   • Written test in English, Physics, and Mathematics
3. Physical Fitness Test:
   • Includes chin-ups, push-ups, reach-ups, and running
4. Interview and Final Selection:
   • Successful candidates will undergo interviews and a final medical examination.
5. Training: Selected candidates will be sent for training to designated PAF centers.

Ineligibility Criteria

Candidates will be considered ineligible under the following conditions:

• If dismissed from any government job or armed forces
• If involved in moral turpitude or criminal activities
• If previously rejected by PAF three times
• Married candidates (for initial recruitment)
• If found medically unfit during the final examination
