JOB OPPORTUNITIES

The Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) DI Khan has been designated as an autonomous institution with a Board of Governors as prescribed by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the Medical Teaching Institution Reform (Amended) Act 2015. Applications are invited from eligible Male/Female candidates for appointment against the following vacant posts at DHQ Teaching Hospital MTI DI Khan on a fixed pay basis.

Available Positions and Required Qualifications

1. Nursing Director (Full-Time)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Nurse (Male/Female) registered with Pakistan Nursing Council.

• Advanced degree in Nursing (BCN), preferably MSc Nursing or equivalent (MPH/MSC).

• Minimum 07 years of administrative and teaching experience in a reputable healthcare facility.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of all nursing functions.

• Training of nurses.

• Ensuring adequate nursing staffing across all clinical departments.

• Maintaining the highest nursing standards.

• Conducting regular audits of nursing functions.

• Performing other duties as assigned by the Board of Governors (BOG).

2. Medical Consultants

Specialties:

• Anaesthesia

• Radiology

• Pathology

• Rheumatology

• Intensive Care Specialist

Qualifications & Experience:

• FCPS/MS/MD/M.Phil/Diplomate American Board or any equivalent degree recognized by PMDC.

• Three years post-fellowship clinical experience in a recognized medical institution.

• For Intensive Care positions, FCPS in Pulmonology or Anaesthesia will only be considered if a candidate with a fellowship in Intensive Care is unavailable.

3. Specialist Registrar (SPR)

Specialties:

• Accident & Emergency

• General Medicine

• General Surgery

• Obstetrics & Gynaecology

• Paediatrics

• Ophthalmology

• ENT

• Radiology

• Cardiology

• Nephrology

• Neurosurgery

• Urology

• Pulmonology

Qualifications & Experience:

• FCPS/MS/MD/M.Phil/Diplomate American Board or any equivalent degree recognized by PMDC.

• Candidates with fresh post-graduate qualifications are encouraged to apply.

• Tenure: Two years (extendable up to three years based on performance and need).

4. Trainee Registrar (T.R)

Specialties:

• Accident & Emergency

• General Medicine

• General Surgery

• Obstetrics & Gynaecology

• Paediatrics

• Ophthalmology

• ENT

• Radiology

• Cardiology

• Nephrology

• Neurosurgery

• Anaesthesia

• Pulmonology

Qualifications & Experience:

• MBBS with valid PMDC registration.

• Postgraduate Fellowship Training completion certificate in the relevant field.

• Tenure: Two years (extendable up to three years based on performance and need).

5. Medical Officers

Qualifications & Experience:

• MBBS or equivalent qualification.

• One-year house job completion certificate.

• Valid registration with PMDC.

6. Respiratory Therapist

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Post-Graduate Diploma in Respiratory Therapy from a recognized institute.

7. Charge Nurses (Male/Female)

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.Sc. Nursing (Four Years) OR

• Three Years Diploma in General Nursing with One-Year Midwifery or One-Year Specialty Diploma.

• Registered Nurse with Pakistan Nursing Council.

8. Clinical Technicians (Male/Female)

Specialties:

• Anaesthesia

• Surgical

• Pharmacy

• Pathology

• Radiology

• Cardiology

• Dialysis

• Ophthalmology

Qualifications & Experience:

• Matric with Science (Minimum 2nd Division).

• Two Years Diploma from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faculty of Allied Health Science or equivalent in the relevant field.

9. Clinical Technologist (Ophthalmology)

Qualifications & Experience:

• BSc in Ophthalmic Technology or equivalent.

• Relevant experience will be an advantage.

10. Optometrist

Qualifications & Experience:

• Four Years Degree (BS Optometry) from a recognized institution.

• Registered with the Medical Faculty Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

11. Ophthalmic Technician

Qualifications & Experience:

• Two Years Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology.

• Additional clinical experience will be given preference.

1. The services of the selectees will be governed by the MTI (Amended) Act 2015, Rules & Regulations.

2. Applications along with attested copies of documents and a bank draft amounting to:

   • Rs. 2000/- for Sr. No. 01-07

   • Rs. 1000/- for Sr. No. 08-12
     should be submitted to the BOK Fowara Chowk Branch DI Khan, Account No. 0004-2007941105 (MTI DI Khan).

3. Applications must reach the Office of Hospital Director, DHQ Teaching Hospital MTI DI Khan by 26th March 2025.

4. The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased by the competent authority.

5. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be provided.

6. Candidates must produce original documents at the time of the interview.
