Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – North
Job Grade: AVP / VP
Location: Jhelum
Reporting To: National Sales Manager
Employment Type: Contractual – 3 years (Renewable based on management discretion)
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a recognized local or international university/institution accredited by the HEC.
Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution.
Minimum 10 years of experience in branch/consumer banking, sales management, or business development.
At least 3 years in a leadership role at Area or Regional level.
Proven sales leadership and management abilities.
Strong knowledge of banking products and sales techniques.
Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Sound understanding of regional geography and market dynamics.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Effective problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated ability to exceed targets consistently.
Lead the sales teams, including Team Leaders and Relationship Managers, to ensure achievement of regional sales targets (Conventional & Islamic Banking).
Provide periodic updates on portfolio performance, profitability tracking, and alignment with KPIs.
Implement and monitor product quality and customer service standards.
Develop and execute branch-specific action plans, and launch special sales campaigns to boost lead generation.
Monitor competitors’ sales strategies, products, and marketing efforts.
Grow and maintain the customer base while strengthening relationships with key clients.
Foster collaboration and alignment with internal stakeholders to promote a One-Bank Culture.
Plan, schedule, and oversee regional sales activities, including product demonstrations and presentations.
Ensure the sales teams are well-supported, trained, and informed about market trends and Bank offerings.
Prepare and manage the annual regional sales budget, analyze performance variances, and implement corrective measures.
Motivate, coach, and manage the performance of sales staff to maintain high standards.
Ensure regulatory and procedural compliance, and maintain all required documentation.
Address audit observations effectively and ensure Shariah-compliance in Islamic Banking operations.
Adhere to Turn-Around-Times (TATs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the Bank.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
