Mir Chakar Khan Rind University of Technology, Dera Ghazi Khan, a public sector university, invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates domiciled in Punjab for the following positions on a contract basis for the Project Implementation Unit:

Qualifications & Experience

1. Project Director (PPS-9)

  • Qualification: B.Sc. Civil Engineering (1st Division) from a university recognized by PEC or HEC.

  • Experience: 12 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in BPS-18, in the construction and maintenance of buildings within Government, Semi-Government, Corporate, or Autonomous bodies.

  • Required Expertise:

    • Preparation of documents required to hire consultants.

    • Preparation of tender/bidding documents.

    • Project management oversight.

    • Procurement processes.

    • Administrative management.

    • Coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant organizations.

2. Office Assistant (PPS-5)

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized university.

  • Experience: Minimum five years' experience as a senior clerk or data entry operator in Government, Semi-Government, Corporate, or Autonomous bodies.

  • Typing Speed: Minimum 40 words per minute on a computer.

3. Driver (PPS-2)

  • Qualification: Secondary School Certificate from a recognized board.

  • License: Valid HTV/LTV or PSV driving license.

  • Experience: At least five years' experience in driving light and heavy vehicles, along with their maintenance and routine repairs in Government, Semi-Government, Corporate, or Autonomous bodies.

4. Naib Qasid (PPS-1)

  • Qualification: Secondary School Certificate from a recognized board or institution.

General Terms & Conditions

  1. These positions are on an extendable annual contract basis until project completion (expected completion date: 30th June 2026). The employees will be hired on a lump-sum basis and will not have the right to regularization.

  2. Interested candidates applying for multiple positions must submit separate applications on plain paper along with a CV, one passport-size photograph, and a set of attested testimonials.

  3. Application Fee: The fee must be deposited in Allied Bank, Main Branch, Dera Ghazi Khan, Account No. 0010129513090057 and the original deposit slip must be attached to the application:

    • Rs. 5000/- for Project Director (Sr. No. 1)

    • Rs. 2000/- for Office Assistant (Sr. No. 2)

    • Rs. 1000/- for Driver & Naib Qasid (Sr. No. 3 & 4)

  4. Age relaxation for candidates working in public sector organizations will be granted as per Government Policy.

  5. Only candidates with Punjab domicile are eligible to apply.

  6. Candidates currently working in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous bodies must apply through proper channels.

  7. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/interview. No TA/DA will be provided.

  8. Candidates must bring original documents at the time of the test/interview.

  9. The University reserves the right to reject any application or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without providing a reason.
