Opportunity to Become a Member of the Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA)
The Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) is a corporate body established under Section 3 of the Islamabad Healthcare Regulations Act, 2018 (Act No. XXIII of 2018). The Selection Committee invites applications from qualified and passionate individuals to join the IHRA Board as honorary members in the following categories:
Position Categories and Requirements
Health Professional (Nursing)
Qualifications:
Minimum Master’s degree in Nursing, registered with the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council, and recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years in clinical practice as a registered nursing practitioner.
Number of Positions: 1
Health Professional (Medical)
Qualifications:
MBBS with registration as a Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP) in Clinical Sciences or Pathology and a relevant postgraduate degree.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years in clinical practice.
Number of Positions: 1
General Instructions
Minimum Age Requirement: All candidates must be at least 45 years old.
Encouragement for Women: Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Tenure: Each membership position is for a term of 3 years, as specified under Section-7 of the IHRA Act.
Final Decision: The Selection Committee’s decision, established under Section 6 of the Islamabad Healthcare Regulations Act, 2018, will be final and non-contestable.
Conflict of Interest: Candidates must ensure they have no conflict of interest with the IHRA.
Application Screening: Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be considered.
No TA/DA: Travel or daily allowances will not be provided.
