Position Announcement: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Ignite is a public sector company incorporated under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984 (now replaced by the Companies Act, 2017), operating under the administrative control of the Ministry of IT & Telecom, Government of Pakistan. The company is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).

Position Overview

Ignite is seeking a highly professional and dynamic individual to join its leadership team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will oversee the company’s financial operations and contribute to its strategic financial planning and performance.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification & Experience

The applicant must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Professional Accountant Route

    • Member of an organized body of professional accountants (e.g., ICAP, ICMAP, ACCA)

    • Minimum 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience

  2. Academic Route

    • Master’s degree in finance-related disciplines from a HEC-recognized university

    • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

Regulatory Compliance

  • The candidate must meet the Fit and Proper Criteria as specified in the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Rules, 2023.

  • Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit a declaration on non-judicial stamp paper as per the prescribed format.

Terms of Employment

  • Contract Duration: Three (3) years, extendable by the Board based on satisfactory performance and subject to applicable laws.

  • Age Limit: Maximum 55 years at the time of this advertisement.

  • Remuneration: A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered, aligned with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
