The Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination (MoCC&EC), Islamabad, invites applications for the positions of four Non Ex-Officio Members of the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB), an autonomous body under the administrative control of the Ministry, in accordance with Section 3(3) of the Islamabad Nature Conservation & Wildlife Management Act, 2024.

Position Details

  • Number of Positions: 04

  • Tenure: Three (03) Years

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification & Experience:

Each of the four Non Ex-Officio Members must be individuals of high integrity, possessing expertise and experience in biodiversity, wildlife management, or any other relevant field.

Disqualification:

A person shall not be appointed as a Non Ex-Officio Board Member if he/she:
(a) Has been convicted of a criminal offense involving fraud, dishonesty, corruption, or violence.
(b) Is or becomes bankrupt, suspends payments, or compounds with creditors.

Key Responsibilities

The Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) shall be responsible for implementing measures and exercising powers necessary for fulfilling the objectives of the Islamabad Nature Conservation & Wildlife Management Act, 2024, in accordance with the provisions of the Act and relevant rules and regulations.

  • The Ministry reserves the right not to fill any advertised position.

  • The appointment and responsibilities of Non Ex-Officio Members will be in accordance with the Islamabad Nature Conservation & Wildlife Management Act, 2024, and the relevant Rules & Regulations.
