The Planning Commission invites dynamic and highly qualified professionals to apply for a senior leadership position in the Social Sector & Devolution. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to national development and drive economic transformation.

Position Title:

Member (Social Sector & Devolution)

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Requirements:

Ph.D. in Social Sector disciplines from an HEC-recognized national or international university
OR

Master’s degree in Social Sector disciplines from an HEC-recognized national or international university

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 14 years of relevant experience at the policy-making level for Ph.D. holders
OR

Minimum 18 years of relevant experience at the policy-making level for Master’s degree holders

Age Limit:

Maximum age on the closing date for application: 62 years

Tenure of Appointment:

Initial contract of two (2) years

Extendable on a yearly basis, subject to satisfactory performance, up to a maximum of four (4) years

Pay Package:

SPPS-I Scale (as per Government-approved Special Professional Pay Scale)

Application Guidelines:

Government Employees: Candidates currently serving in government departments must apply through proper channel. Selected candidates will be required to resign or retire from government service before assuming the position.
