COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our client, a newly established Karachi-based FinTech company, is seeking experienced professionals for the following positions:
1. Manager Implementation
As the Manager Implementation, you will report to the Head of Technology & Data Management and play a key role in facilitating seamless integrations between the company’s technology platform and its digital alliance partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with technology service providers to develop and implement a complete payment system platform.
- Design scalable, secure payment systems architecture to handle financial transactions.
- Create wireframe diagrams and customer journey process flows with a focus on user convenience.
- Coordinate with multiple partners for API development and maintenance for integration with third-party services, financial institutions, and merchants.
- Implement robust security measures, including encryption, tokenization, and secure authentication.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards.
- Develop transaction monitoring mechanisms to detect and prevent fraud.
- Work closely with software developers and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and thorough testing (UAT/SIT).
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, APIs, and integrations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 16 years of education, preferably a Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution or equivalent foreign degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- 6-8 years of professional experience, ideally in a startup or a large national/multinational organization, with at least 3-6 years of relevant experience in payment systems, card and wallet management, app development, and network architecture.
Skills & Requirements:
- Analytical mindset focused on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong understanding of fintech trends and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Age: Preferably below 45 years.
2. Team Lead Compliance
As the Team Lead Compliance, you will report to the Head of Finance & Compliance and lead the development of compliance and risk strategies to ensure all necessary policies, procedures, tools, and systems are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive compliance strategies to ensure adherence to regulations and guidelines.
- Act as the primary liaison with the State Bank of Pakistan, managing audits and queries.
- Ensure that systems and partners meet regulatory compliance requirements.
- Manage the timely submission of reports and reconciliations as per regulatory requirements.
- Promptly report material incidents of non-compliance to senior management.
- Collaborate with teams to create and update compliance policies in line with industry standards.
- Implement efficient compliance monitoring systems tailored for a fast-moving startup.
- Develop risk management strategies to safeguard the company's interests.
- Prepare the team for audits and ensure compliance readiness.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 16 years of education, preferably a Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution or equivalent foreign degree in Accounting, Finance, CA/ACCA, or related fields.
Experience:
- 6-8 years of professional experience, ideally in fintech or a large national/multinational organization, with 3-6 years of relevant experience in compliance roles within the financial services or fintech industry.
Skills & Requirements:
- Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire team members.
- Strong analytical abilities and a proactive approach to compliance challenges.
- Experience in regulatory frameworks and requirements within the fintech industry.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Age: Preferably over 40 years.
