Skyrooms Private Limited (SRL), a subsidiary of PIA Holding Company Limited (PIAHCL), is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead its premier property, Airport Hotel Karachi. This prestigious hotel offers luxurious accommodations, fine dining, and state-of-the-art event facilities, strategically located near Jinnah International Airport. The role is ideal for a results-driven leader with deep expertise in the hospitality industry and a passion for excellence.
The General Manager will be responsible for the overall operations and strategic direction of Airport Hotel Karachi. This includes overseeing financial performance, sales and marketing, guest experience, and human resource management, with the goal of enhancing the hotel's market positioning and profitability.
Develop and implement long-term strategies to elevate the hotel’s ranking and market share.
Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Supervise daily operations, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and engineering.
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team.
Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction through superior service delivery.
Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and risk management measures.
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including owners, investors, and local authorities.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; preference given to candidates with higher education, particularly in Hospitality/Hotel Management from a recognized HEC-accredited institute.
Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in a commercial business, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within a well-reputed hotel industry.
Age: Maximum 60 years as of the closing date for application submission.
Hotel Operations Expertise: Strong understanding of revenue management, sales, and marketing.
Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Leadership & Team Management: Ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
Strategic Thinking: Capacity to create and implement long-term business strategies.
Guest Experience Focus: Commitment to exceptional customer service and problem resolution.
Decision-Making Skills: Ability to make informed and timely decisions under pressure.

Contract Duration: Three-year performance-based KPI-driven contract, extendable based on performance and business needs.
