The Planning Commission, Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, serves as the apex think tank for the Government of Pakistan. It plays a pivotal role in providing technical and professional input for the formulation and implementation of socio-economic policies and plans.
As part of its "Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening" initiative, the Ministry invites applications from motivated Pakistani professionals for the following position on a purely contractual and merit-based appointment:
Macro-Economic Modeling Advisor
Economic forecasting
Policy analysis
Quantitative economic modeling
Providing macroeconomic insights for policy formulation
Minimum Education:
At least 16 years of professional education, including a 2nd Class Master’s Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
Minimum Experience:
20 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in national/international organizations from public or private sectors.
Pay Scale: PPS-11 (as per project pay scale)
Maximum Age: 63 years
