1. Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Specialist
Number of Positions: 1

Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Qualifications:
Master's degree in Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, Business Administration, or Social Sciences.
Work Experience:
At least 7 years of relevant work experience in M&E, knowledge management, and communication, preferably with national or international donor-funded organizations.
Demonstrated professional experience in developing and implementing comprehensive M&E plans, and developing and writing reports depicting project interventions and results.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in the use of databases, modern information and communication technology (ICT) in development, and other computer applications for M&E.
Analytical Skills:
Demonstrated skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis and data management.
Communication Skills:
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing successful communication and knowledge management strategies.
Strong computer and communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
Skills and Competencies:
Proven skills in research and analysis, transforming data into useful information and conclusions.
Expertise in M&E methods and approaches (log frame, theory of change, stakeholder analysis, quantitative and qualitative data collection, adaptation to local context, participatory approaches, etc.).
A solid understanding of rural development, including aspects such as targeting the rural poor, women and youth inclusion, environmental conservation, and adaptation to climate change.
Willingness to carry out fieldwork and engage with project beneficiaries and other stakeholders in remote rural areas.
Good document drafting and writing abilities, including in the presentation of analysis or research.
Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and implementing agencies.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
Organizational skills and the ability to concurrently handle multiple assignments.
