Advertisement for Part-Time Appointment of Legal Advisor

The Parks and Horticulture Authority, Gujranwala, under Section 7, Subsection (c) of the PHA Act 2012, requires the services of a Legal Advisor to assist in legal matters and represent the authority in various courts including lower courts, High Courts, and other relevant legal forums.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for an initial appointment of one year under the following terms and conditions:

Position Title:

Legal Advisor

Educational Qualification:

  • LLB Degree from a recognized institution

  • Enrollment/license to practice in the High Court

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant legal practice

Monthly Remuneration:

  • Up to PKR 50,000 (inclusive of all allowances)

Terms and Conditions:

  1. The appointed Legal Advisor will be bound to represent Parks and Horticulture Authority Gujranwala in various legal forums including:

    • Lower Courts

    • High Courts

    • Tribunals

    • Equivalent forums

  2. The Advisor must also provide legal consultation and representation for tax-related matters with institutions such as:

    • FBR (Federal Board of Revenue)

    • PRA (Punjab Revenue Authority)
      No additional compensation will be provided for these services.

  3. Legal assistance may also be required in administrative office matters, which will be covered under the same agreed monthly remuneration.

  4. The competent authority reserves the right to offer a salary lower than the proposed amount, subject to internal policies.

  5. The appointment will be strictly part-time and non-permanent. However, it may be extended as per the need and discretion of the authority.

  6. The Legal Advisor must be available to appear in court as required and assist in all court proceedings, documentation, and official legal matters.
