VACANT POSITIONS

The University of Home Economics Lahore invites applications from Pakistani Nationals for Visiting Faculty Positions and from Punjab Domicile Holders for Administrative Posts on a contract basis.

Visiting Faculty Positions

Subjects/Disciplines:

  1. Entrepreneurship & Marketing

  2. Block Chain, AI, and Machine Learning

  3. Textile & Clothing

  4. Textile Design

  5. Fashion Design

  6. Human Development & Family Studies

  7. Animation & UI/UX

  8. Pakistan Studies

  9. Computer Science

  10. Quantitative Reasoning/Statistics/Statistical Packages for Social Sciences

  11. Entrepreneurship

Eligibility Criteria:
Appointments will follow the Higher Education Commission (HEC) faculty appointment criteria.

Administrative Posts

2 Assistant Estate Officer (BS-14) 1 21 to 35 years Bachelor’s degree (Second Division) or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institution.
3 Cook (BS-05) 1 21 to 35 years Secondary School Certificate (Second Division) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board, with two years of relevant experience.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICANTS

  1. Application Submission Deadline: Candidates must submit their applications by March 28, 2025 on the prescribed Job Application Form, available for download at https://uhe.edu.pk/downloads.

    • Candidates applying for the Cook position may submit applications on plain paper.

  2. Application Submission Method:

    • Send applications via Registered Mail/Courier Service to The Registrar, University of Home Economics Lahore.

    • Attach the Original Challan Form/Bank Deposit Slip along with attested copies of the following:

      • Educational Documents

      • Experience Certificates

      • Domicile

      • CNIC

      • Two passport-size photographs

Application Processing Fee

Visiting Faculty PKR 500/-
Teaching Assistant PKR 1,000/-
Assistant Estate Officer PKR 1,000/-
Cook No fee required

Bank Details:

  • Candidates must deposit the fee using the Bank Challan available on the university website.

  • Mention the applicant's name and post name on the bank deposit slip.

  • Photocopies of deposit slips or challan forms will not be accepted.

  • Processing fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

  1. Additional Instructions:

    • Clearly mention the Post Applied For, Subject, and Discipline on the top right corner of the application envelope.

    • If applying for multiple positions, submit separate applications and processing fee slips for each.

    • Candidates currently employed in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous bodies must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer by the due date.

    • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be provided.

    • Age relaxation, disabled persons’ quota, and minority quota will be observed as per Punjab Government policies.

    • The University reserves the right to increase, decrease, withhold, or cancel any position without prior notice.

    • Late or incomplete applications will not be entertained. Applicants must ensure all required documents are provided.
