VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Lady Reading Hospital - Medical Teaching Institution (LRH-MTI), Peshawar, invites applications for the following position on a contract basis:

Position: Specialist Registrar (Orthopaedic)

Qualification & Experience Required:

  1. The candidate must possess an MBBS or equivalent qualification duly recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC).

  2. The candidate must have FCPS or an equivalent qualification completed within the last one year (up to the closing date of the advertisement).

  3. The candidate must have a valid PMDC registration.

General Instructions:

  1. Application Submission:

    • Interested candidates must submit the prescribed job application form, available at www.lrh.edu.pk, duly filled and sent through registered courier service to the following address: Human Resources Department, Lady Reading Hospital - MTI, Peshawar

    • Deadline for submission: 8th April 2025.

  2. Job Application Processing Fee:

    • A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1,000/- must be deposited in MCB Account No. 0847608141003952 (online), titled as "Receipt of Hospital LRH MTI", Branch Code 0958.

    • The original deposit slip must be attached with the job application.

  3. Required Documentation:

    • The job application must be supported by attested copies of all requisite credentials.

    • Incomplete applications or hand-submitted applications will not be entertained.

  4. Eligibility Criteria:

    • Candidates must fulfill all eligibility requirements, including qualification and certification, before the closing date.

    • Only post-qualification experience will be considered.

  5. Disqualification Criteria:

    • Candidates may be disqualified or excluded from the interview process if they: a. Knowingly provide false information. b. Suppress any relevant information that may lead to disqualification. c. Submit forged educational or experience certificates.

  6. Service Regulations:

    • The incumbent’s service will be governed by the Medical Teaching Institution Reform Act 2015 and its amendments, along with the Rules and Regulations of the Institution.

  7. Government Employees:

    • Candidates currently serving in government positions must resign from their previous post if selected for employment at LRH-MTI.

  8. Quota Policies:

    • The prescribed quota for persons with disabilities and minorities will be maintained as per government rules.

  9. Selection Process:

    • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a Test/Interview.
