VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Position: Head of Internal Audit

Employment Type: Contract Basis

Qualification & Experience:

• Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), CMA/ACMA/FCMA, or ACCA.
• Minimum seven (07) years of post-qualification experience in audit at a senior level within a major private or public entity.
• Preferably a member of a recognized body of professional accountants or a certified internal auditor.

Main Responsibilities:

The Head of Internal Audit will:

• Lead the internal audit function of the institution.
• Review internal controls for financial accounting management and institutional functions.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures governing the institution.
• Act as Secretary to the Audit Committee of the institution.
• Conduct risk assessments and initiate a comprehensive audit program.
• Perform audit tests, document findings, write audit reports, and follow up on outstanding audit issues.
• Coordinate with various departments, external auditors, and stakeholders to ensure statutory compliance.

Reporting Structure:

• Functionally reports to the Board of Governors through the Audit Committee.
• Administratively reports to the Hospital Director.

4. Applicants must meet all eligibility criteria (qualifications and certifications) before the closing date. Only post-qualification experience will be considered.

6. Quotas for disabled persons and minorities will be observed as per the regulations.
