Recruitment Advertisement – Punjab Police

Positions Available

Recruitment is being conducted for the following vacant positions in Punjab Police:

• Constable & Lady Constable

• Dolphin Squad Constable

• Driver Constable

• Traffic Assistant

Candidates from the concerned districts are invited to apply using the prescribed form, based on the following eligibility criteria:

1. Age Limit

• Constable & Lady Constable: 18 to 22 years

• Dolphin Squad Constable: 18 to 22 years

• Driver Constable: 21 to 30 years

• Traffic Assistant: 18 to 22 years

2. District-wise Eligibility

• Lady Constable: Only for candidates from Chakwal and Mianwali

• Dolphin Squad Constable: Only for candidates from Mianwali

• Driver Constable: Only for candidates from Murree

• Traffic Assistant: Only for candidates from Rawalpindi and Murree

3. Physical Standards

Height

• Male: Minimum 5 feet 7 inches

• Female: Minimum 5 feet 2 inches

• Dolphin Squad (Male only): Minimum 5 feet 8 inches

Chest (for Males only): 33” x 34½”

Vision: Must have 6/9 vision with or without glasses. Weak eyesight or color blindness will be disqualified.

4. Domicile and CNIC

Candidates must possess domicile and computerized national identity card (CNIC) of the respective districts for which they are applying.

5. Educational Qualifications

• Constables & Lady Constables: Secondary School Certificate (Matric) from a recognized board

• Driver Constables: Higher Secondary School Certificate (Intermediate)

• Traffic Assistant: Secondary School Certificate (Matric)

6. Physical Endurance Test

• Male Candidates: 1.6 km run in 7 minutes

• Female Candidates: 1.6 km run in 10 minutes

7. Driving License

For Driver Constable: A valid LTV (Light Transport Vehicle) driving license is required. A two-year driving experience and highway driving test will also be conducted.

8. Application Instructions

• Application forms can be downloaded from the Punjab Police official website: http://punjabpolice.gov.pk

• Submit the completed form along with:

  • Verified photocopies of educational certificates

  • CNIC

  • Domicile

  • 300 PKR processing fee (non-refundable)

• Submission Dates: 28th April 2025 to 12th May 2025

• Submit forms to the respective District Police Line

9. Special Instructions

• Candidates will not receive any travel or accommodation allowance for recruitment tests.

• Applicants from government/semi-government departments must apply through proper channel and provide NOC.

• 5% quota reserved for minorities

• 15% quota reserved for women

• 10% quota reserved for ex-servicemen

10. Disqualification Conditions

• Candidates found submitting false documents or affidavits will be disqualified and legal action will be taken.

• Candidates previously dismissed due to disciplinary action or medical unfitness are not eligible.

• Recruitment will be cancelled if documents are found forged or unverified at any stage.

• Only candidates with complete applications will be allowed for physical tests.

11. Additional Notes

• Final selections will be based on physical tests, written tests, interviews, and medical evaluations.

• Candidates qualifying for more than one post must select only one post before interviews and submit an affidavit accordingly.

• The competent authority has the right to modify or cancel this advertisement at any time.
