Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the following contract-based positions:

1. Manager (Business Development)

  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • BE in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, with PEC registration.
    • 8-10 years of experience in Business Development, Marketing, or Sales, preferably in steel fabrication, foundry, and machining sectors.
    • Candidates with additional qualifications like BBA/MBA in Supply Chain or Marketing and excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills will be given preference.
  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years.

2. Assistant Manager (Tech) Admin & Finance

  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • BE in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics, with PEC registration.
    • Over 3 years of relevant experience.
    • Certification in Finance Contract Management, a working knowledge of PPRA and PEC rules, and proficiency in MS Office is preferred. Additional qualifications like BBA will be an asset.
  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years.

3. Assistant Manager (Mechanical)

  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • BE in Mechanical Engineering with PEC registration.
    • Over 3 years of relevant experience in managing industrial setups, particularly in heavy industry.
    • Candidates with troubleshooting expertise and experience in the repair and overhaul of mechanical machinery/equipment will be preferred.
  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years.

4. Supervisor (Personal Assistant)

  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • Graduation or equivalent from a university recognized by the HEC.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Personal Assistant to higher officials, handling secretarial and managerial duties.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, good communication skills, and expertise in maintaining office and secretarial record management is preferred.
  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years.

5. Boat Crew

  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Qualification/Experience:
    • Middle/Matriculation level education.
    • At least 3 years of experience in rope handling and VHF communication.
  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years.
