Conserve Electricity to Reduce Load Shedding

Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO), registered under the Companies Ordinance 1984, is licensed to distribute and supply electricity to more than 6.47 million consumers with 19,202 employees within defined geographical areas of Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara, and Nankana districts. LESCO invites applications through M/s Open Testing Service (OTS) to fill the following posts on an open contract basis.

Available Positions

Fabricators

• Minimum 5 years of experience in pipe and structure fabrication
• 3 years of experience in gas cutting and measuring

Fitters

Welders

Multi Welders: (CO2, Argon, and X-ray Welders)

• 5 years of experience in electric welding
• 5 years of experience as an X-ray welder

General Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience is required for all positions.

Instructions & General Conditions:

• Market-based lump sum package, non-pensionable.
• Only those candidates who have completed their degree are eligible to apply. Candidates to whom their final transcript has not been issued or result awaited shall not be considered.
• Candidates already serving in Government/Semi-Government Organizations/Autonomous bodies should apply through the proper channel. An advance copy of the application may be forwarded without obtaining NOC. The candidate will not be allowed to appear in the interview if they fail to produce NOC from the concerned department.
• Age relaxation is already included in the age limit mentioned above. No further age relaxation will be granted except for candidates belonging to scheduled castes (3 years) and disabled persons (10 years).
• Candidates applying for more than one post must apply separately for each post.
• Minimum passing marks in the written test will be 50%. Computer knowledge (including MS Office, Windows, Internet & E-mail, etc.) is compulsory for the posts mentioned above.
• Only qualified candidates meeting the eligibility criteria mentioned against each post will be allowed to appear for the test/interview.
• LESCO reserves the right to decrease the number of posts and cancel the whole recruitment process at any stage.
• The clearance of character and academic credentials of the candidates from the agencies/police shall be mandatory without which candidates shall not be selected.
• Incomplete applications and those received after the closing date will not be entertained.
• LESCO has no binding to consider applications received after the closing date. The last date for submission of applications is 15.07.2024.

2. Applications submitted by hand or received after the due date will not be entertained.
