Temporary Jobs on Daily Wage Basis

Applications are invited from residents of Punjab for the following positions on a daily wage/temporary basis:

1 Junior Computer Operator 03 18-60 Years (i) Higher Secondary School Certificate (second division) or equivalent from a recognized Board with computer training course or (ii) ICS (second division) or equivalent from a recognized Board; and (iii) Speed of 40 words per minute typing on computer in English.
2 Imam 01 18-60 Years (i) Sanad Daras-i-Nazami or Sanad Fazil-i-Arabi (ii) Proficiency in qirat.
3 Electrician 01 18-60 Years (i) Higher Secondary School Certificate (second division) from a recognized Board; (ii) Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electrical (second division) or equivalent from a recognized Institute; (iii) Two years' experience in the relevant field.
4 Cook 01 18-60 Years (i) Secondary School Certificate (second division) or equivalent from a recognized Board; (ii) Two years' experience in the relevant field.
5 Attendant (8 men, 1 woman) 09 18-60 Years Secondary School Certificate (second division) or equivalent from a recognized Board.
6 Tube Well Operator 01 18-60 Years Secondary School Certificate (second division) or equivalent from a recognized Board.
7 Driver 02 18-60 Years (i) Valid Heavy Transport Vehicle driving license or valid light transport vehicle driving license and Public Service Vehicle driving license; (ii) Diploma (three months) in MS Office from a recognized institute.
8 Helper (Plumber, Electrician & Welder) 03 18-60 Years Literate
9 Mali 07 18-60 Years Literate
10 Sweeper 05 18-60 Years Literate

Terms and Conditions:

  1. The appointment will be for a period of 89 days purely on a daily wages basis.
  2. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
  3. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
  4. Candidates must have a domicile in any district of Punjab.
  5. The University reserves the right not to fill any post, withhold appointment against any advertised post, or increase/decrease the number of posts as per requirement.
