Recruitment for Junior Commissioned Officers (Naib Khateeb) and Soldiers in the Pakistan Army

Registration and Recruitment:
From September 1 to November 23, 2025.

Eligibility/Requirements:

Candidates from Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan: Both married and unmarried males.

Clerks and Technicians: Minimum Intermediate (12th grade) or equivalent, with a computer diploma preferred. Preference will be given to educated individuals.

Junior Commissioned Officers (Naib Khateeb) and Soldiers: Candidates from districts of Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and certain tribal areas will also be eligible.

Age Limit:

For Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb): Candidates should be between 20 to 28 years of age on November 24, 2025. Candidates already serving in the military may have an age limit of 22 to 35 years, depending on their service duration.

For Soldier Trades: The age limit for minorities is between 17 to 23 years as of November 24, 2025.

For Sentry Workers: The age limit is from 17.5 to 35 years as of November 24, 2025.

Required Documents:

Original certificates, two attested copies of all documents.

Passport-sized photographs.

For educated candidates (graduates or above), a relaxation of up to one year in the maximum age limit is possible.

For children of martyrs or those from special categories, a relaxation of up to two years is available.

National ID card and related documents.

Selection Process:

Interested candidates can obtain application forms at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers across the country, from September 1 to November 23, 2025.

Registration can also be completed online at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk between August 25 to November 16, 2025.

Special Relaxation:

Candidates from specific districts of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may receive a relaxation of three years in the age limit.

Height Requirements:

Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb): Minimum 160 cm (5 feet 3 inches).

Soldier (General Duty/Driver/Technical): Minimum 173 cm (5 feet 8 inches).

Sentry Worker: Minimum 160 cm (5 feet 3 inches).

Educational Qualifications:

Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb): Must have a recognized religious education or equivalent qualification, with a focus on Arabic fluency, Quranic recitation, and interpretation.

Soldiers (General Duty/Driver/Technical/Police): Minimum Matriculation (Grade 10) or equivalent. Preference is given to candidates with higher education.
