Job Opportunity: Joint Director (Planning & Procurement)
Private Power & Infrastructure Board (PPIB), a statutory/autonomous body, is seeking self-motivated, skilled, and dynamic individuals to join the organization for the position of Joint Director (Planning & Procurement). Qualifications/Skills & Experience:

• Educational Requirements: A 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Energy) from an HEC-recognized institution (local/foreign).
• Experience: At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Additional Qualifications:
  • Qualifications in Economics/Finance or Energy Management.
  • Familiarity with planning applications/software is an advantage.
• Skills:
  • Expertise in power planning, modeling, acquisition, load forecasting, and demand/supply analysis.
  • Proven experience in coordinating with Power/Energy sector entities.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills are essential.

Role Overview:

The Joint Director (Planning & Procurement) will:

• Collaborate with SOLRs (Suppliers of Last Resort) to estimate capacity/energy obligations and prepare power procurement plans in alignment with the CTBCM (Competitive Trading Bilateral Contract Market) regime.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and NEPRA to secure approval for procurement plans.
• Assist in executing the IAA (Independent Auction Administrator) functions under the CTBCM context.
