Applications are invited from individuals fulfilling the specified criteria for the following post on a contract basis in the e-Library Project of the Board of Revenue, Punjab.


Post Details

Post Title: Specialist
Number of Posts: 1

Description of Duties:

  • Installing Ethernet cards.
  • Configuring network drivers.
  • Troubleshooting network connections.
  • Supporting and working with Windows (10 and above), Mac (OS 5 and above), and Linux operating systems.
  • Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products.
  • Installing and configuring appropriate software and functionalities as per specifications.
  • Supporting the management of the project by developing presentations for workshops, seminars, and meetings.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Eligibility Criteria

Age: 25–45 Years

Qualification:

  • Minimum 16 years of education with a degree in one of the following fields:
    • Computer Science
    • Information Technology
    • Software Engineering
    • GIS Engineering
    • Equivalent qualification in a related field from a recognized HEC university.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with government job experience.

General Instructions

  1. Candidates having domicile in Punjab are eligible to apply.
  2. The post is purely project-based, temporary, and on a contract basis under the Contract Appointment Policy, 2004, for a limited period.
  3. The selected candidate will have no right to regularization of the contract.
  4. The decision of the authority will be final and cannot be challenged in any court of law.
  5. The competent authority may accept or reject any application at any stage without assigning a reason.
  6. A project-based lump-sum salary package will be provided, with no entitlement to usual allowances applicable to regular/contract posts.
  7. Applications must include attested copies of the following:
    • Educational certificates
    • Experience certificates
    • CNIC copy
    • Domicile certificate
    • Two passport-size photographs
    • Other relevant documents
  8. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
  9. No TA/DA will be provided for the test/interview.
  10. Applications must reach the office of the Project Director by 23-12-2024 via registered mail. Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be entertained.
