VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Position:

Investment Specialist (Sindh Fund Management House) (One Position)

Education Qualification:

The candidate must possess at least one of the following qualifications:

  • (a) CA Finalist / ACCA / ACMA

  • (b) Master’s in Accounting or Finance from an HEC-recognized university

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 05 years of working experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm.

  • Expertise in managing finance sector audits and investment accounting within the financial services industry.

  • Relevant experience in the financial services sector, including but not limited to:

    • Banks

    • Insurance Companies

    • Non-Banking Financial Institutions

    • Brokerage Houses

    • Investment Firms

    • Asset Management Companies

  • Experience gained in a Chartered Accountancy firm will be considered relevant.

Age Limit:

  • Not exceeding 45 years

Job Description:

  • Experience in financial reporting as per International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

  • Expertise in compiling financial and statistical data reports and the ability to explain such reports to stakeholders.

  • In-depth knowledge of budgetary principles and practices.

  • Strong computer skills, including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and other financial software.

  • Development of internal reporting requirements in accordance with Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) regulations.

  • Compliance with SECP and other regulatory authorities' secretariat requirements.

  • Expertise in preparing forecasted financial statements.

  • Conducting liquidity analysis and ensuring adequate cash flow to meet organizational requirements.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. The appointment will be on a contract basis for an initial period of three (03) years, extendable for an additional three (03) years based on satisfactory performance.

  2. A competitive, market-based salary package will be offered to the selected candidate.

  3. Applicants currently in service should apply through proper channels with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer.

  4. Only short-listed candidates will be called for a test/interview.

  5. No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview or any other recruitment-related process.
