WAPDA Internship Programme 2024
WAPDA is pleased to offer a paid internship scheme aimed at providing professional experience to university graduates across Pakistan. This national-level initiative is tailored for fresh graduates looking to enhance their portfolios, fulfill academic requirements, and gain hands-on training in a reputed organization. The program offers a unique opportunity for young professionals to work with experienced teams, gain practical skills, and learn about work ethics in one of Pakistan’s most prestigious institutions.
Programme Highlights:
Duration: 8 weeks (2 months)
Stipend: PKR 20,000 per month
No. of Internships: 50 positions
Application Deadline: 8th November 2024

Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering – 16 seats
Civil Engineering – 14 seats
Geological Engineering – 5 seats
Computer Science/Information Technology – 3 seats
Finance & Accounting – 5 seats
Human Resource Management – 5 seats
Mass Communication – 2 seats
Eligibility Criteria:
Recent graduates (within the last 3 years)
Maximum age: 28 years
Minimum CGPA: 2.8
Only graduates are eligible to apply.
Seat Distribution by Quota:
Open Merit: 20 seats
Punjab: 6 seats
Sindh: 6 seats
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 6 seats
Gilgit Baltistan: 3 seats
Balochistan: 3 seats
Azad Kashmir: 3 seats
Ex-FATA: 3 seats

Application Instructions:
Applications must be submitted online via the Google Form link available on WAPDA's official website: www.wapda.gov.pk .
The deadline for application submission is 8th November 2024.
Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected.
Hand-delivered applications will not be accepted.
Successful completion of the internship does not guarantee employment at WAPDA.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
General Conditions:
Candidates must have a working bank account in their name.
Applicants should be graduates from HEC-recognized universities or relevant boards.
Original documents must be presented during the interview.
WAPDA reserves the right to cancel or withhold applications at any stage without explanation.
