Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO), a leading Public Sector Utility Company under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), manages the distribution of electricity across 13 districts of southern Sindh (excluding Karachi). Operating with a workforce of over 10,000 employees, HESCO seeks exceptional professionals for the following C-level positions.

The ideal candidates will demonstrate outstanding leadership, team-building, change management, and communication skills. They must be proactive, results-oriented, and possess a proven track record of credibility, integrity, and expertise in a corporate environment.

• Report directly to the CEO and the Board of Directors.

• Exhibit sharp business acumen and knowledge of managerial practices in power utilities.

Available Positions

Qualification & Eligibility Criteria

1. Company Secretary

• Member of a recognized body of professional accountants, corporate secretaries, or holder of a 16-year degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Law.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in government, semi-government, or large commercial organizations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Upper age limit: 55 years.

2. Chief Commercial Advisor

• Minimum 16-year degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
• At least 10 years of post-qualification relevant experience.
• Proven expertise in sales, client relationship management, and market analysis.
• Upper age limit: 55 years.

3. Chief Information Technology Officer

• Minimum 16-year degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
• At least 10 years of post-qualification relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of software, IT frameworks, and industry trends.
• Proven skills in change management and IT governance.
• Upper age limit: 55 years.

Remuneration & Tenure

• Competitive market-based salary, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
• Initial contract: 2 years, renewable annually based on performance evaluation by the Board of Directors.

Other Conditions

• Candidates must meet the Fit and Proper Criteria outlined in the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023.
• Only Pakistani citizens may apply.

• Foreign academic qualifications require an HEC equivalence certificate.
