CAREER OPPORTUNITY

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client, a Karachi-based company, seeks to appoint experienced and seasoned professionals for the following positions:


JUNIOR MANAGEMENT POSITIONS - LEGAL

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and monitor litigation cases before different courts/forums through external counsels.

  • Review pleadings before court filing and maintain the status of court cases.

  • Follow up with external lawyers regarding legal proceedings.

  • Vet agreements, MOUs, addendums, and other legal documents; render legal opinions when required.

  • Provide legal advisory services and assistance to various departments after reviewing inquiry reports, charge sheets, show cause notices, and court orders.

  • Ensure compliance with legal and statutory regulations by reviewing contracts, agreements, proposals, and other documents.

  • Stay updated on legal and statutory developments relevant to the company and provide timely advice to the supervisor.

Education:

  • Law Degree from an HEC-recognized Law School/University.

  • Additional qualifications such as Solicitor, Bar-at-Law, or LL.M. would be an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience.

  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a junior management position.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently with excellent interpretation and drafting skills.

  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and presentation skills.

  • Females are encouraged to apply.

Age Limit:

  • Preferably not more than 33 years as of the last date of application submission.


MIDDLE MANAGEMENT POSITIONS - LEGAL

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support on various matters, including corporate governance and compliance.

  • Represent the company before regulatory authorities and other forums.

  • Draft and negotiate contracts such as sale and purchase agreements, NDAs, SLAs, and bank guarantees.

  • Handle disputes including arbitration and litigation.

  • Structure, draft, and review legal reports and documents.

  • Offer legal advice on commercial, civil, labor, company, PPRA, and intellectual property laws.

  • Ensure business unit compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Oversee corporate litigation, review pleadings, and coordinate with external lawyers.

  • Review contracts, agreements, and proposals to ensure legal compliance.

Education:

  • Law Degree from an HEC-recognized Law School/University.

  • Additional qualifications such as Solicitor, Bar-at-Law, or LL.M. would be an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of overall experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization.

  • At least 3-6 years of relevant functional experience at a senior or equivalent position.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently with excellent legal interpretation and drafting skills.

  • Strong presentation, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.

  • Positions available in Karachi and Islamabad.

Age Limit:

  • Preferably not more than 40 years as of the last date of application submission.
