Our client, a Karachi-based company, is looking to appoint experienced and skilled professionals for the following positions:
Junior Management Positions - Finance Professionals
Education Requirements:
- Minimum 16 years of education, preferably a Master's degree from an HEC-recognized university or institution, or an equivalent foreign degree holder.
- Preferred fields include Finance, Accounts, Commerce, Business Administration, or professional qualifications like ACCA, CMA, ICAEW, or BS in Accounting and Finance.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in any of the following fields: Tax, Budgeting, Reporting, Insurance, Treasury, Accounting, Audit, or related Finance Functions.
Requirements:
- Preference will be given to candidates with working knowledge of SAP.
- Strong analytical, presentation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are required.
- Age: Preferably not more than 33 years as of the last date of application submission.
CA Professionals
Education Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (must be a member of the institute).
Experience:
- Freshly qualified or with post-qualification experience in areas such as Tax, Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Treasury, or related Finance Functions.
- Experienced candidates will be given preference.
Requirements:
- Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of SAP.
- Must be well-versed in IFRS, International Accounting Standards, and local laws such as the Companies Act and Tax laws.
- Age: Preferably not more than 40 years as of the last date of application submission.
Junior Management Position - Company Secretariat
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing agendas and documents for board meetings, committees, and Annual General Meetings (AGMs), and following up on action points.
- Convening and servicing AGMs, drafting minutes, resolutions, and lodging required forms and annual returns with relevant departments.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Maintaining statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries.
- Managing correspondence, preparing financial reports, and communicating decisions to stakeholders.
- Liaising with external regulators, legal advisors, and auditors.
- Filing statutory forms in accordance with the Companies Regulations 2024 with SECP within the prescribed time period.
- Timely reporting to PSX through PUCARs as per PSX Rule Book requirements.
- Planning and managing the board's budget, monitoring expenses, and recording monthly accruals.
Education Requirements:
- Minimum 16 years of education, preferably a Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized university or institution, or an equivalent foreign degree holder.
- Preferred fields include Accountancy & Finance, Business and Management Sciences, or Law.
- Certification in Accounting & Finance (CAF) is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national or multinational organization, with at least 1-2 years of relevant functional experience.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, board members, and external stakeholders.
- Strong legal and regulatory awareness, with an ability to assess risks and propose solutions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office with adequate IT literacy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Age: Preferably not more than 33 years as of the last date of application submission.
