Our client, a Karachi-based company, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following roles:

MIDDLE MANAGEMENT POSITION - PORTFOLIO & PRICING

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute category and channel strategies/plans for lubricants across all channels, including retail, high street, and industrial, to achieve volume and profitability objectives, market coverage, and reach.
  • Select an effective channel mix to drive category-driven strategies and implement them by liaising with trade marketing, sales, brand, supply chain, and production.
  • Analyze industry data, market opportunities, key learnings, and consumer insights to modify category plans as required.
  • Monitor monthly external price drivers and key customer returns on price discounts, and present findings and suggestions to management.
  • Conduct price-related research and customer surveys to understand price drivers, brand equity, and price elasticity, and steer the strategic price positioning of the category as per the business and brand plan.
  • Develop sales and channel monitoring mechanisms and systems. Liaise with stakeholders to aid in the development of a lubricant trace and track system, integrated with SAP.
  • Oversee the portfolio strategy and suggest future product launches and/or changes to the product.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute reports, trackers, and various spreadsheets for management and sales teams.

Education:

  • Minimum 16 years of education, preferably a Master’s degree from a renowned HEC-recognized university or an equivalent foreign degree holder institution, preferably in Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization, with at least 3-6 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data and trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strategic mindset.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, compliance, and safety standards.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.

MIDDLE MANAGEMENT POSITION - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (FLEET ACCOUNTS)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and surpass national lubricant revenue and volume targets for the segment by developing and implementing strategic sales plans to enhance market share and profitability.
  • Conduct comprehensive marketing research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, guiding the introduction of comprehensive solutions for the lubrication needs of the fleet segment.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive pricing strategy for the product portfolio, considering market dynamics and profitability goals.
  • Manage key accounts by ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional customer service and prompt resolution of any issues.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and new prospects.
  • Provide technical expertise and address queries to ensure a thorough understanding of product specifications and benefits.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop segment-specific promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Work closely with regional sales teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of national sales strategies.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to regional account managers and sales representatives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.

Education:

  • Minimum 16 years of education, preferably a Master’s degree from a renowned HEC-recognized university or an equivalent foreign degree holder institution, preferably with majors in Business or a related field.

Experience:

MIDDLE MANAGEMENT POSITION - AUTO CARE SERVICES & OEM SALES

Key Responsibilities:

  • Study, identify, and develop financially sustainable and scalable auto care service station models on designated B2C channels across Pakistan, both in high street and fuel stations, to develop lubricant brand equity and improve market share, generating a sustainable and healthy profit stream.
  • Responsible for developing a complete project solution for auto care services from inception to execution, including all CAPEX, OPEX, designing, engineering, operating, and HR agreements required for the project.
  • Develop short and long-term strategies, including identifying GEM market, key players, product portfolio, and pricing to achieve sales and profitability targets for the segment.
  • Execute the planned strategy with the team to achieve sales and profitability targets for the segment.
  • Work closely with the Lubricant R&D department to enrich product offerings and meet required specifications.

Education:

  • Minimum 16 years of education, preferably a Master’s degree from a renowned HEC-recognized university or an equivalent foreign degree holder institution, preferably in Marketing or a related field.

Experience:

MIDDLE MANAGEMENT POSITION - CARD OPERATIONS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Card Operations policies and procedures and suggest changes to bring efficiency to the operations.
  • Establish and manage relationships with vendors, partners, and merchants to ensure streamlined operations and the delivery of services.
  • Assist management in long-term planning, including initiatives geared towards operational excellence.
  • Negotiate contracts/agreements/purchase orders with vendors/service providers in the best interests of the company.
  • Handle the prequalification of service providers as per business requirements and coordinate the procurement processes to ensure the provision of quality service and business continuity.
  • Execute activities with adherence to procedures, meeting TATs, and building controls in all operational tasks managed by the reporting team.
  • Manage internal and government audits/observations/queries to ensure resolution of the same in coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present presentations to management and other internal stakeholders for approvals of new products, services, system upgrades, vendor contracts, budgets, etc.
  • Lead the development of system workflows based on evaluation of clients' feedback along with a business management plan to address the needs.

Education:
