The Peshawar Institute of Cardiology, Medical & Teaching Institution, invites applications for the following position:

Position: Hospital Director

  • Gender: Male/Female

  • Age Requirement: Not Applicable

  • Qualifications:

    • Master's Degree in Hospital Management, Health Services Management, Business Management, Public Health, Public Administration, or a relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution.
    • A medical degree in addition to a management qualification is advantageous.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 7 years in a management-level position.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all non-clinical operations of the Institute, including finance, budgeting, ancillary services, building maintenance, human resources, and procurement.
    • Report directly to the Board of Governors of the Institute.

  1. Application Process:

    • Application forms are available at www.pic.edu.pk. Only prescribed forms will be accepted.
    • Submit completed application forms along with a covering letter, academic credentials, experience certificates, domicile, two passport-sized photographs, and attested copies of CNIC, along with the original bank deposit slip/bank draft to the Office of the Secretary Board of Governors at PIC-MTI, Peshawar. Applications must be submitted through a registered courier.

  2. Payment Details:

    • The application processing fee is non-refundable, set at Rs. 1,000.
    • Deposit into "Hospital Director" account, Bank of Khyber, Phase 5, Hayatabad Branch, Peshawar (Account No. 0083-0000-0165-1008).

  3. Eligibility Requirements:

    • Only post-qualification experience verified by the Administration/Human Resources or Establishment department will be considered.
    • Age, qualification, and experience must meet the criteria as of the application deadline.

  4. Disqualification Criteria:

    • Incomplete applications, including missing documents or irregular certificates.
    • Applications received after the deadline.
    • Applications without the processing fee.
    • Attempts to influence recruitment committee members or obtain support through improper means will result in disqualification.

  5. Additional Requirements:

    • Government employees must apply through the proper channel, with an NOC from their current employer.
    • Appointed candidates will be required to resign from any other existing employment.

  6. Interview Process:

    • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
    • No TA/DA will be provided for tests/interviews.
    • Final hiring decisions are at the discretion of the competent authority.

  7. Closing Date:

    • Applications must be received by 15th November 2024.
