POSITION OF CHAIRMAN CIEC

The Sindh Higher Education Commission (Sindh HEC), Government of Sindh, facilitates institutions of higher learning in the province of Sindh. Sindh HEC is seeking applications from dynamic and high-caliber professionals with international eminence and experience in the Higher Education Sector for the post of Chairman CIEC, Sindh HEC. The appointment will be for an initial tenure of four years.

Eligibility Criteria:
All result-oriented professionals meeting the criteria below are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be domiciled in Sindh Province. The prescribed qualifications, experience, age limit, and other terms of appointment are as follows:

Qualification, Experience & Other Criteria:

  1. The candidate must qualify as a Professor of a University.

  2. Must have at least 15 quality research publications in national and international HEC-recognized research journals.

  3. Should have 20 years of experience in academic and administrative positions.

Age Limit:

  • Up to 65 years.

General Instructions:

  1. Applications must be submitted within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this notice. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

  2. Part-time, honorary, apprentice, and internee experience will not be counted towards the minimum experience requirement.

  3. Sindh HEC is an equal opportunity employer.

  4. The remuneration will be market-based, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

  5. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

  6. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.

  7. Candidates already in government service must apply through the proper channel. If selected, all service and other rules of the Sindh HEC will be followed.

  8. Sindh HEC reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.

  9. Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.

  10. Qualification, age, and experience will be reckoned as of the closing date.
