HEAD OF INTERNAL AUDIT
Brief Job Description
EXIM Bank is seeking an experienced professional, with comprehensive knowledge of existing local & global Internal Audit requirements and best practices, to lead its Internal Audit function. The role involves developing and implementing a robust audit framework to assess risks, provide independent evaluations, and offer solutions. The Head of Internal Audit (114) will design & execute risk-based audit plans covering all bank operations and ensure proper monitoring and execution across all functions Responsibilities include overseeing fraud detection efforts, ensuring audit of outsourced arrangemerits, and reporting audit results to the Board Audit Committee (B.A.C.). The individual will liaise with management committees, providing insights on compliance, and keep the bank aligned with best audit practices. The position also involves preparing detailed audit reports, offering recommendations for improvement, and consulting with department heads to enhance the efficiency of financial and management controls, while fostering a culture of high performance, integrity and accountability within the audit team.
Qualification
A member of a recognised body of professional accountants having qualification of CA/CPA/ACMA/ACCA/MBA/Finance) from a leading local or international university/institute recognised by the Higher Education Commission (HEC)
Experience
PID1092-24
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience inv/with banks /DRs in Pakistan, with minimum 5 years of it in a senior management Aeadership internal audit role
