Applications are invited under the Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) Act 2015, for the following vacancies at Khyber Girls Medical College, Hayatabad, Peshawar. The candidates must have domiciles of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or newly merged tribal Districts.

Recruitment Rules and Qualifications:
Assistant Professor ENT, Cardiology, Accident & Emergency, Pediatrics, Anesthesiology, and Professor Endocrinology (Reproductive):

Qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized/registered by the PM&DC. PM&DC level III qualification in the respective subject like FCPS/MS/MD or other equivalent level III qualification in the specialty approved by the Standing Recognition Committee (SRC) and recognized/registered by the PM&DC.
Experience: Two years of clinical experience in the relevant subject specialty from a recognized institute after level III qualification will be preferred. Two research publications in the relevant subject/specialty in a PM&DC registered journal will be preferred.
Deputy Director (Research):

Equivalent to BPS-18 (Contract)
Qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized/registered by the PM&DC with a Master's in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, or equivalent qualification recognized/registered by the HEC.
Experience: Two years of relevant experience in a recognized institute. Experience in a medical university/college will be preferred.
Deputy Director (QEC):

Equivalent to BPS-18 (Contract)
Qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized/registered by the PM&DC with three years of administrative experience in BPS-17 or equivalent, including two years of relevant experience in QEC. Experience in a medical university/college will be preferred.
Alternate Qualification: MPhil or a Master’s degree in the relevant field from a university recognized by the HEC with five years of administrative experience in BPS-17 or equivalent, including two years of relevant experience in QEC. Experience in a medical university/college will be preferred.
Assistant Professor (Basic Sciences):

Equivalent to BPS-17 (Fixed Pay)
Qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification fully recognized/registered by the PM&DC.
Preference: Candidates with higher qualifications in Basic Sciences or those in the process of attaining one, and experience as a demonstrator in a medical college/university.
Bio-Statistician:

Equivalent to BPS-17 (Contract)
Qualification: Master’s in Epidemiology/Biostatistics from a recognized university by the HEC.
Experience: At least one year of post-qualification experience in conducting health research and managing databases. Proficiency in SPSS, STATA, or similar software is required.
Instructional Designer:

Equivalent to BPS-17 (Contract)
Qualification: At least 16 years of education in Computer Science/IT/Software Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university by the HEC. Candidates with relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Office Specialist, Instructional Designing course) and/or an MPhil/MS degree will be preferred.
Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in a public sector or autonomous organization, preferably health-related, with proven working experience in instructional design with Moodle LMS, and knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models/frameworks.
Computer Operator:

Equivalent to BPS-16 (Contract)
Qualification: At least 2nd Class Master/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science OR Master/Bachelor Degree with a DIT from the Board of Technical Education or its equivalent.
Experience: At least one year of post-qualification experience in a reputable institute.
Computer Assistant:

Equivalent to BPS-12 (Contract)
Qualification: FA/FSc with a Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) from the Board of Technical Education.
Experience: At least one year of experience in hardware/software installation and troubleshooting.
Junior Clerk:

Equivalent to BPS-11 (Contract)
Qualification: 1st Class Intermediate School Certificate from a recognized board. DIT from the Technical Board or its equivalent. A computer typing speed of 30 words per minute is required.
Terms & Conditions:
Applications on the prescribed form, duly filled in all respects along with bio-data and attested academic/experience records, must reach the Office of the Dean, Khyber Girls Medical College, PDA Building Block-IV, Phase-V Hayatabad, Peshawar, within two (02) weeks of the latest publication of this advertisement in the newspaper.
The application form can be downloaded from the college website www.kgmc.edu.pk.
A processing fee of Rs.1000/- (non-refundable) should be deposited with the cashier (Account Section) in KGMC, Peshawar.
The services will be governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical & Teaching Institutions Reform (MTI) Act 2015.
Applicants with incomplete documents will not be entertained.
Selected candidates will serve KGMC, Peshawar under a probation period of one (01) year, extendable but not exceeding two (02) years.
Only short-listed candidates will be called for an interview.
Candidates may be shortlisted either on the basis of their pre-interview marks or based on an entry test if the number of candidates is very high.
In case an entry test is taken for shortlisting, its marks will have no weightage in the total aggregate marks.
Applications must reach this office on or before the last date during office hours as outlined in Para-1. If the closing date fixed for the receipt of application form falls on an official holiday, the next working day shall be considered as the closing date. An application received after the closing time and date shall stand rejected.
The Scrutiny Committee of KGMC shall be competent to reject incomplete applications. However, aggrieved candidates can appeal to the Competent Authority of KGMC for review. The decision of the Competent Authority shall be final.
Any candidate may be disqualified and/or excluded from the interview if he/she:
(a) Is convicted by a court of law.
(b) Had a previous history of dismissal from public service.
(c) Knowingly furnishes false information.
(d) Suppresses any information which may lead to his/her disqualification.
(e) Attempts to obtain support for his/her candidature by improper means.
(f) Submits forged certificates.
(g) Tampers with the entries in his/her age and academic certificates.
(h) Misbehaves during the interview.
Applicants working in private institutions should get prior approval/NOC from the HR Department of their respective institution. Government servants should apply through the proper channel and obtain an NOC from their respective Departments/Institutions.
Original documents shall be produced at the time of the interview.
No TA/DA is admissible.
