POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

The Services & General Administration Department, Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir, invites applications from individuals of high eminence and proven leadership to head the Kashmir Institute of Management (KIM), Muzaffarabad as Director General. KIM is a premier training institution of the Azad State of Jammu and Kashmir. Candidates meeting the following qualifications and experience criteria are encouraged to apply:

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications:

  • 1st Class Master's degree in one of the following fields:

    • Public Policy

    • Economics

    • Development Studies

    • Public Administration

    • Strategic and Security Studies

    • International Relations

Experience:

  • Minimum 03 years of relevant experience in one of the following roles/institutions:

    • Pakistan Administrative Staff College

    • NIPAS

    • National Defence University (NDU)
      (Experience as Directing Staff, Chief Instructor, or Director General is required)

Alternate Eligibility:

  • Retired Civil Servants of AJ&K in BS-21/22 from:

    • Administrative Service

    • Secretariat Service

    • Police Service
      OR

    • Officers of Armed Forces not below the rank of Brigadier (NDU/NMC qualified)

Terms of Appointment

  • Appointment on contract basis for an initial period of 03 years.

  • Final selection will be made on the recommendation of the Board of Governors (BOG) of KIM.

  • Pay, allowances, and other perks/privileges will be equivalent to BS-20.

  • Terms and conditions will be governed by Contract Policy, 2006.
