Power Planning & Monitoring Company (PPMC) is mandated to provide policy and technical support to the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), integrated planning of the Power Sector of Pakistan, development and implementation of strategic plans for the power sector, and to administer, monitor, and evaluate the performance of Power Sector Entities under the approved policies/plans.
The Company is seeking applications for the following positions from eligible candidates who can perform the tasks assigned under the thematic areas mentioned above, National Electricity Plan, and Company policies. The candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, outstanding problem-solving abilities, and the capability to exercise sound judgment based on accurate and timely analysis. Excellent communication, minute writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills are prerequisites. The ideal candidate should have the ability to prioritize work efficiently under pressure. Proficiency in IT, integrity, and maturity are essential attributes when handling confidential company information.
Develop concept papers, reports, seminar/workshop reports, technical reports, summaries, and policy briefs.
Prepare presentations, reports, and orientations related to policy, planning, and support functions.
Assist in the development of dedicated models for energy transition scenarios, power planning, etc.
Data management, logging, and coordination.
Conduct research and studies for document/model formulation.
Support the core functions on assigned tasks.
Assist in designing technology maps and adoption strategies for structured policies.
Collect and update data, references, and related local & global developments.
Bachelor (4 Years) / Master’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Energy Systems Engineering, or Engineering Sciences from an HEC recognized/affiliated institute/university.
Provide support in various IT functions, including software applications development, system operations, and infrastructure management.
Collaborate with teams to identify and resolve technical issues and provide basic support to ensure seamless functionality of systems and tools.
Assist in developing work plans, IT strategies, procurement documents, scope of work, and IT policies.
Support the development and deployment of applications and solutions as per requirements.
Conduct research on digitalization, emerging trends, automation, tools, development, and implementation.
Carry out R&D, feasibility studies, and analysis for projects involving application development or integration.
Review and evaluate software feasibility studies and detailed specifications.
Develop presentations, reports, and orientations related to IT functions.
Bachelor (4 Years) / Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, or related fields with relevant specializations from an HEC recognized/affiliated institute/university.
Develop presentations, reports, and orientations related to tariffs, subsidies, circular debt reporting, and support functions.
Conduct financial data analysis and support the development of financial models to facilitate decision-making.
Provide assistance in reviewing tariff-related motions and reconsideration requests.
Develop papers, study reports, seminar/workshop reports, technical reports, concept summaries, and policy briefs.
Assist in the development of dedicated models for consumer tariffs, adjustments, circular debt, subsidies, etc.
Manage and update data, references, and related local & global developments.
Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) or CA Inter/ICMA Inter/ACCA/CFA.
Member of a professional body of Accountants OR a four (4) year Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or related fields (minimum 16 years of education) with relevant specialization from an HEC recognized/affiliated institute/university.
Candidates with relevant certifications are encouraged to apply.
Support the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
Assist in initiatives aimed at boosting employee morale and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Contribute creative ideas to enhance team-building activities and employee recognition programs.

Bachelor (4 Years) / Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related fields with relevant specialization from an HEC recognized/affiliated institute/university.
Minimum CGPA of 3.00/4.00 or 4.00/5.00 (80% marks for local graduates) and 65% marks for foreign graduates.
The degree must not be issued later than three (3) years from the date of advertisement.
Fresh graduates from reputable universities are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with foreign degrees must provide an equivalency certificate from HEC/PEC.
The maximum age limit is 30 years as of the closing date of the advertisement. No age relaxation will be allowed.
Selected candidates will be offered a remuneration package of Rs. 100,000 per month (lump sum basis).
The initial engagement will be for one (1) year, after which the candidate may be evaluated for selection as Assistant Specialist/Assistant Manager in the relevant field, subject to the availability of the post. Otherwise, the contract will automatically terminate.
