JOIN IHRA AS A PRESTIGIOUS POOL OF ASSESSORS
The Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA), established under the Islamabad Healthcare Regulation Act, 2018, is committed to enhancing healthcare quality within the Islamabad Capital Territory. It regulates public and private healthcare establishments, ensuring compliance with standards to elevate service delivery.
To support its mission, IHRA is forming a pool of assessors to evaluate healthcare establishments against Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) for licensing. Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the following categories:
Assessors' Categories & Eligibility Requirements
Clinical Specialist
- Qualification: Level 2b or Level 3 clinical degree
- Registration: Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC)
General Medical/Dental Doctor
- Qualification: MBBS/BDS
- Experience: 8–15 years post-qualification
- Registration: PMDC
Homoeopathic Practitioner
- Qualification: BHMS/DHMS
- Registration: National Council for Homoeopathy
Tabib
- Qualification: BEM/FTJ
- Registration: National Council for Tibb
Nurse
- Qualification: BS Nursing/Post RN or higher
- Experience: 15 years in a hospital setting
- Registration: Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC)
Pharmacist
- Qualification: B-Pharmacy/Pharm-D
- Experience: 15 years (preferably in a hospital setting)
- Registration: Pharmacy Council
Electro-Medical Engineer
- Qualification: B.Sc. in Electro-Medical/Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Bio-Medical Engineering
- Registration: Pakistan Engineering Council
Bio-Medical Technician
- Qualification: Diploma in Bio-Medical Technology from a recognized institution
Laboratory Technologist
- Qualification: BS Medical Lab Technology (MLT) from an HEC-recognized institution
Physiotherapist
- Qualification: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)/MS in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Experience: 15 years post-qualification
Terms & Conditions
- Training: Selected assessors will be trained on MSDS standards before assignments.
- Reference Manuals: Available at IHRA’s website: www.ihra.gov.pk.
- Application Submission:
- Submit CVs with attested copies of CNIC, educational, and experience certificates.
- Use registered post or courier.
- Clearly state the applied category on the envelope's top-right corner.
- Deadlines:
- Applications are accepted year-round.
- For the initial phase, submit within 15 days of this advertisement's publication.
- Retainership Fee: No retainership fee will be paid.
- Panel Duration: Assessors remain on the IHRA panel for one year (extendable).
- Engagement: Assignments will be need-based as per IHRA Board directives.
- Incomplete Applications: Will not be entertained.
