Medical Teaching Institution Abbottabad (ATH/ACD/AMC)

The Medical Teaching Institution Abbottabad (MTI-ATH/ACD/AMC), a 1500-bed tertiary care hospital operating under the MTI Act 2015 and its amendments, invites applications for the following position:

1. Nursing Director

Number of Positions: 1

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a recognized advanced degree in Nursing, such as BScN.
  • Preference for candidates with MSCN/MA and current Nursing Council registration.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 07 years post-qualification administrative and teaching experience in a reputable healthcare facility.

Required Skills:

  • Strong administrative and management abilities.
  • Proficiency in time management and communication.
  • Capability to work effectively under stress.
  • Proven track record of completing tasks within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all nursing functions, including nurse training.
  • Ensure adequate nursing staffing for clinical needs.
  • Maintain the highest standards of nursing care.
  • Conduct regular audits of nursing functions.
  • This is a non-practicing position, reporting directly to the Board of Governors of MTI-ATH.

  3. Previous Employment: Candidates must hold a positive standing with prior employers.
  4. Contract Terms:
    • Initial contract for 05 years, extendable for two additional terms of 05 years each at the discretion of the Board.
    • Candidates should not have conflicts of interest with the position.
