The Federal Directorate of Education, Islamabad, invites applications for the following vacant positions on a regular basis in educational institutions across the urban and rural areas of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). The details of the positions are as follows:

Vacant Positions:

1. Elementary School Teacher (EST) - Male

  • BPS: 14
  • Subjects: English, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Urdu, Islamiat
  • Number of Vacancies: 27
  • Quota Distribution:
    • Merit: 01
    • ICT: 16 (including 3 for Minorities and 1 for Disabled)
  • Eligibility Criteria: Second Class/Grade "C" (4 years) Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent qualification in the relevant subject from a university recognized by HEC.
  • Age Limit: 18-25 years plus 5 years general relaxation in the upper age limit.

2. Elementary School Teacher (EST) - Female

  • BPS: 14
  • Subjects: English, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Urdu, Islamiat
  • Number of Vacancies: 64
  • Quota Distribution:
    • Merit: 03
    • ICT: 29 (including 5 for Minorities and 2 for Disabled)
    • Punjab: 13 (including 3 for Minorities)
    • Sindh (Urban): 02 (including 1 for Minorities)
    • Sindh (Rural): 06 (including 1 for Minorities)
    • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 03
    • Balochistan: 04
    • Ex-FATA: 03
    • Gilgit-Baltistan (GB): 01
    • Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK): 01
  • Eligibility Criteria: Second Class/Grade "C" (4 years) Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent qualification in the relevant subject from a university recognized by HEC.
  • Age Limit: 18-25 years plus 5 years general relaxation in the upper age limit.

Total Number of Vacancies: 91

Registration Process:

  • Eligible and interested candidates must apply online. Hard copies of applications will not be entertained.

  • The last date for online registration is 19th September 2024.
  • Information about the date and venue of the test will be communicated electronically through SMS/Email.

Interview/Selection Process:

  • Shortlisted candidates, based on test results and scrutiny, will be called for an interview.
  • Notification of the interview date and venue will be provided via letter, email, and the official website.
  • Shortlisted candidates must bring original documents along with an attested copy of each at the time of the interview. All documents should be duly verified by HEC and IBCC.
