Job Opportunities at the IT Training Centre – Islamabad

The Ghulam Ishaq Khan (GIK) Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, in collaboration with the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), has launched an IT Training Centre at Islamabad Model College for Girls, F-74 (Margalla Campus), Islamabad. This initiative is part of the Prime Minister’s High Impact Technology Initiative, aimed at delivering high-quality IT training to unemployed youth.

Available Positions (Full-Time/Visiting Faculty)

Applications are invited for the following faculty roles:

1. Assistant Professor (Full-Time/Part-Time)

Qualification & Experience:

PhD in Computer Science or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
Preference will be given to candidates with degrees from foreign universities.
Must have expertise in:
- Data Science
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Cyber Security
- Full Stack Development
- Web 3.0 Technologies
Candidates should have a First-Class academic record.
Industry experience will be an added advantage.

2. Lecturer (Full-Time/Part-Time)

Qualification & Experience:

Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
Must have a First-Class academic career.
Required expertise includes:
- Data Science
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Cyber Security
- Full Stack Development
- Web 3.0 Technologies

3. Industry Expert

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in the IT sector.
Must demonstrate expertise in:
- Data Science
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Cyber Security
- Full Stack Development
- Web 3.0 Technologies

Note: Certain qualification requirements may be relaxed for candidates with exceptional industry experience.
