🔹 Role Overview:

Al-Noor Sugar Mills Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead its sugar production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the factory during the crushing season and beyond, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This is a leadership role that demands technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a collaborative approach.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure optimal operations during the crushing season, maximizing output and minimizing losses.

  • Monitor and manage crushing performance and loss ratios to achieve efficient results.

  • Focus on energy efficiencies, including usage monitoring, steam generation, and steam percent per cane.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for effective goal achievement.

  • Oversee robust maintenance programs to ensure machinery reliability and minimal downtime.

  • Manage store inventories, spare parts consumption, and maintenance budgets for cost optimization.

  • Foster teamwork and positive collaboration across departments.

  • Supervise various departments including Technical, Production, Maintenance, Quality Control, HR, and Logistics.

  • Maintain optimal workforce strength for uninterrupted operations.

  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and sustainability initiatives.

  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Monitor and control factory operating expenses efficiently.

  • Align maintenance and financial plans with the organization’s financial objectives.

  • Collaborate closely with the Cane Department and other divisions for seamless operations and asset management.

  • Ensure upkeep and value preservation of both factory and colony assets.

🎓 Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in a similar leadership position.

  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, leadership, and analytical abilities are essential.
