POSITIONS VACANT

Fatima Memorial Hospital College of Medicine & Dentistry, a 470-bed multi-specialty, tertiary care teaching institution, invites applications for the following positions. The college is recognized by the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP) for undergraduate and postgraduate training in all major disciplines. It offers state-of-the-art clinical and diagnostic services through a team of clinical experts catering to patients from diverse backgrounds.

Position: Assistant Professor – Science of Dental Materials

Qualification:

  • BDS, along with MDS/FCPS/Ph.D. or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject.

Experience:

  • For Ph.D./FCPS Degree Holders: One year of teaching experience in a recognized institution.
  • For MPhil Degree Holders: Two years of teaching experience in a recognized institution.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in teaching and training BDS and Dental Technology graduates.

Research Papers:

  • Minimum of two research publications in the relevant subject, published in peer-reviewed indexed journals.

Additional Notes:

  • Candidates holding FCPS in Prosthodontics are also encouraged to apply.

  • Minimum of two research publications in the relevant subject, published in peer-reviewed indexed journals.

Preference Criteria:

  • Experience in undergraduate medical education, research, and curriculum design.
  • Strong record of high-impact publications.
  • Familiarity with modern assessment techniques and the use of technology in education.

Additional Requirements for Faculty Positions:

  • For positions of Assistant Professor and above, candidates must obtain an experience equivalence certificate from the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC).
