SITUATION VACANT

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment on a contract basis under the development project "Internship Scheme for Agriculture Graduates" (2024-25).

Position Details

  • Name of Post: Financial Specialist
  • Project Pay Scale (PPS): 06
  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Age Limit: Maximum up to 35 years

Qualification, Experience, and Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Master’s degree in Financial Services, ACMA, ACCA, M.Com, or an equivalent qualification in Accounting & Finance or Commerce from a reputable and recognized local/international educational institute.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum two (02) years of work experience in financial management within a public sector organization.
    • Experience in the development sector will be an added advantage.
  • Skills Required:
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
    • Strong financial and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Capability to work with senior officials.

Important Notes

  1. Age Relaxation: No relaxation in the upper age limit is admissible.
  2. Equivalence Certificate: Candidates possessing degrees other than the specified qualifications must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC)/Competent Forum.
  3. Nature of Appointment:
    • The contract appointments are temporary, non-transferable, job-specific, and non-pensionable.
    • The contract duration is until 30-06-2025.
    • If the project period is reduced or extended, the contract appointment will be adjusted accordingly with the approval of the competent authority.
  4. Merit-Based Recruitment:
    • Selection will be made strictly on merit as per the eligibility criteria approved in the PC-I.
  5. Application Submission Process:
    • Candidates must apply using the prescribed application form, available for download at www.agripunjab.gov.pk.
    • Applications must be addressed to:
      Director General Agriculture (Extension) Punjab, 21-Davis Road, Lahore.
    • The application must clearly mention the post applied for and be submitted along with:
      • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
      • Three (03) passport-size recent photographs
      • Attested copies of all relevant documents, including:
        • CNIC
        • Academic certificates/degrees
        • Detailed marks certificates (including CGPA)
        • Hafiz-e-Quran Certificate (if applicable)
        • Position in Board/University (if any)
        • Release orders for Ex-Servicemen (if applicable)
    • The deadline for submission is 28-03-2025.
    • Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
    • Only eligible candidates will be called for the test/interview.
  6. Recruitment Process:
    • No TA/DA will be provided for test/interview.
    • Candidates can download the application form from the department’s website.
    • A hard copy of the application form, along with attested documents, must be submitted to the department.
    • The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the Notice Board three (03) days prior to the interview.
    • Candidates can approach the Director Agriculture (Extension) Punjab, Lahore for any queries at least two (02) days before the interview.
    • Final appointment letters will be issued after approval by the Selection/Recruitment Committee.
  7. Other Instructions:
    • The department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts.
    • Project employees are not entitled to the benefits of regular government employment.
    • The final selection list will be displayed on the Notice Board.
