CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for appointment on a Purely Contract Basis under the PSDP Project titled "Capacity Building of the Office of Pakistan Commissioner for Indus Waters," Ministry of Water Resources, Government of Pakistan. The details of the available posts are as follows:

1. Financial Management Specialist / Procurement Specialist (PPS-9)

• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years
• Qualification:
  Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA (Finance), Commerce, CA, ACCA, ACMA, or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience:
  Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, financing, budgeting, and other related activities in the public sector, with at least 3 years of experience in PSDP projects.
• Monthly Salary: PKR 306,250 (All-inclusive, Lump-sum)

2. GIS Analyst (PPS-9)

• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
• Qualification:
  16 years of education in GIS/RS, Geomatics, Geography, or a closely related field from an HEC/PEC-recognized university.
• Experience:
  Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in GIS/RS. Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, GEE) is required, with 1-2 years of experience in the water sector.
• Monthly Salary: PKR 306,250 (All-inclusive, Lump-sum)

3. Hydraulic Engineer (PPS-9)

• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
• Qualification:
  Master's Degree (18 years of education) in Civil Engineering, Hydraulics, Water Resources Engineering, or an equivalent field from an HEC-recognized or reputable international university.
• Experience:
  Minimum 5 years of experience in water resources planning, development, management, and operation.
• Monthly Salary: PKR 306,250 (All-inclusive, Lump-sum)

4. Hydrologist (PPS-9)

• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
• Qualification:
  Master's Degree (18 years of education) in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Hydrology, or an equivalent field from an HEC-recognized or reputable international university.
• Experience:
  Minimum 5 years of experience in water resources planning, development, management, and operation.
• Monthly Salary: PKR 306,250 (All-inclusive, Lump-sum)

5. Assistant Director (IT) (PPS-8)

• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 years
• Qualification:
  16 years of education in Computer Science, IT, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience:
  Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in IT. Expertise in MIS development and management, office automation, and digitization is highly desirable.
• Monthly Salary: PKR 218,750 (All-inclusive, Lump-sum)

Additional Information:

• Increment: 5% increment of the minimum salary, as per Finance Division (OM) No.4(9) R-14/2008 dated 18-04-2022.
• Age Calculation: Age limits will be calculated based on the closing date of the advertisement.
• Application Procedure:

• Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
