Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment on a contract basis under the development project "Chief Minister's Punjab Green Tractor Program (2024-25)."
Position Details:
- Position: Financial Management Specialist
- Project Pay Scale: 09

- Age Limit: Up to 50 years
Qualification, Experience, and Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A professional certification such as CPA or CFA is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a similar role, preferably within a subsidy scheme or agricultural project.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of financial management principles, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, especially in subsidy schemes and agriculture finance.
- Proficient in financial management software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, MS Excel).
- Excellent analytical and management skills with a strong capacity for interpreting complex financial data and making sound decisions.
- High ethical standards with a commitment to transparency and accountability.
- Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information concisely and clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to developing innovative solutions.
General Instructions:
- Age Relaxation: No relaxation in the upper age limit is permitted.
- Degree Equivalency: In the case of non-traditional degrees, equivalency certification from the HEC/Competent Forum must be provided by the candidate.
- Contract Terms:
- Contract appointments are temporary, non-transferable, job-specific, and non-pensionable.
- Contracts will expire on 30.06.2025. If the project duration is adjusted, contract terms will be amended with approval.
- Merit-Based Selection: Recruitment will strictly adhere to the approved merit-based selection and eligibility criteria.
- Application Submission:
- Submit applications on the prescribed form (downloadable from www.agripunjab.gov.pk), addressed to the Secretary Agriculture, Government of Punjab, 21-Davis Road, Lahore.
- Include a detailed CV, three recent passport-size photographs, and attested copies of certificates/degrees and other relevant documents (including CNIC, detailed mark certificates, Hifz-e-Quran Certificate if applicable, Board/University positions, and release orders for Ex-Servicemen).
- Applications must reach by 21.11.2024. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
- Application Portal: Candidates may also apply online at www.jobs.punjab.gov.pk; however, a hard copy of the application and all required documents must also be submitted.
- Interview List:
- A list of eligible candidates will be displayed on the Notice Board three days prior to the interview date.
- Candidates with queries can contact the Additional Secretary (Planning), Agriculture Department, at least two days before the interview.
- Selection Outcome: Successful candidates’ names will be posted on the Notice Board, and offer letters will be issued post-approval from the Department Selection/Recruitment Committee.
- Right to Amend Posts: The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts.
- Pay and Regularization: Selected candidates are not entitled to pay protection or regularization.
