OPPORTUNITIES

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the following positions, purely on a contract basis, initially for a period of one year. These positions are for the Internal Support Unit (ISU), Corporate Governance Unit (CGU), Debt Management Unit (DMU), and Risk Management Unit (RMU) in the Finance Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Management Position (MP) scales.

Positions and Requirements

1. Team Lead – Corporate Governance

  • Scale: MP-I
  • Qualification:
    • Minimum of 16 years of education in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Commerce from a reputable local or international institution.
    • Associate Chartered Accountant (ACCA-UK), Chartered Accountant (CA-Pakistan or UK), or equivalent.
    • Additional certifications (e.g., Director's Training Program, Public Financial Management certifications) will be preferred.
  • Experience:
    • At least 10 years in corporate governance policy/strategy roles or related fields.
    • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.

2. Senior Analyst – Debt Management

  • Scale: MP-II
  • Qualification:
    • Minimum 16 years of education in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
    • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Experience:
    • At least 8 years in financial management, debt management, or risk analysis.
    • Knowledge of public debt policies and governance structures.

3. Financial Analyst – Risk Management

  • Scale: MP-III
  • Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Risk Management.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certifications preferred.
  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years in financial risk analysis or public-private partnership projects.

Application and Recruitment Process

The recruitment will consist of three phases:

  1. Application Phase:

    • Submit a CV (max. 3 pages, legal size 8.5" x 14") with a cover letter (max. 3 pages).
    • Highlight your qualifications and experience relevant to the role.

  2. Written Test:

    • Shortlisted candidates will undergo a written test.
    • Candidates scoring above the minimum threshold will proceed to the next phase.
  3. Interview:

    • A case study/problem-solving interview and a competency fit interview.
    • Performance in the interview will determine the final selection.

Important Notes

  1. Cover letters are mandatory and will play a critical role in shortlisting. Unprofessional or missing cover letters will result in rejection.

  4. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
