Applications are invited from qualified and competent candidates for the following contractual positions available in the Federal Tax Ombudsman Secretariat, a public sector organization:

Hiring of Services under Section-20 of FTO Ordinance 2000

        Retired BS-22: Rs. 282,000/- Karachi (2) Experience in tax policy, tax administration, preferably in Customs/Income Tax/Sales Tax matters.

2 Assistant Advisor Up to 50 years 01 Rs. 150,000/- Islamabad (1) Graduate with a preference for candidates having a 6-week Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office).
3 Assistant Advisor (Accounts) Up to 65 years 01 Rs. 150,000/- Islamabad (1) Retired Accounts Officers of AGPR/CGA, SAS/PIPFA Qualified with a preference for candidates having a 6-week Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office).

General Information/Instructions

  1. Appointments will be made purely on a contractual basis under Section-20 of the FTO Ordinance 2000, initially for a period of 6 months to 1 year, extendable based on performance.

  2. Candidates who applied in response to previous advertisements must reapply.

  3. The number of posts may be increased or decreased as per requirement.

  4. How to Apply:

    • Interested candidates meeting the qualification, experience, and skills criteria should send applications/CVs by post/courier.
    • Include the following in the application:
      • Recent passport-size photo
      • Details of qualifications, experience, service group, date of birth, CNIC, postal address, and contact number.
    • Clearly mention the name of the post applied for on the top right corner of the envelope.
    • Submit applications within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.

  5. Applications received after the last date or those incomplete/not properly submitted will not be considered.

  6. Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.

  7. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
