Director General (Market Implementation & Regulatory Affairs Department) FESCO Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) is a leading Public Utility Company dealing with the power sector and operates its business of distribution of electricity serving more than 5.27 million customers with annual revenue base of Rs. 482.431 billion in Eight (08) Districts of Punjab namely Faisalabad, Chiniot, Sargodha, Jhang, T.T. Singh, Khushab, Mianwali & Bhakkar, The Company intends to hire a dynamic personality for the post of DG (MIRAD). The position will provide leadership and direction to the company for implementation of respective actions for the development of competitive electricity market in Pakistan and its operations afterwards. The MIRAD functions include bilateral power purchase contract agreement, legal and regulatory affairs, billing and settlement with market operator, demand forecasting and transmission planning. The department will be interface of FESCO with competitive trading bilateral contract market (CTBCM).
1. QUALIFICATION:
Bachelors or equivalent Degree in Engineering/Finance/Accounting/Law/Management Sciences from reputable HEC recognized Universities in addition to Master's Degree in the relevant disciplines.
2. EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 20-years of total experience including 10-years experience in power sector. The candidate should possess strong knowledge on technical, commercial and financial matters of the utility business / power sectors particularly Market Implementation Regulatory Affairs and legal / contractual issues. Knowledge of competitive electricity markets will be added advantage.
3. AGE LIMIT:
Upto 55-years at the time of application.
4. NATURE OF EMPLOYMENT:
The employee shall be on contract for an initial period of three (03) years, with annual performance evaluation to be conducted by the Board of Directors FESCO, which shall neither be regularized nor be pensionable.
5. PAY & ALLOWNACES:
Market based pay will be given with perks & privileges equivalent to BPS-20.

b. Copies of Degrees/Testimonials duly verified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) or the rofessional body or association whichever is relevant.
c. Copy of CNIC and recent photograph. 7. OTHER CONDITIONS:
1. Application incomplete in any respect or received after due date will not be entertained and no claim whatsoever thereof will be acceptable.
2. The candidates already working in Govt. / Semi Govt./Autonomous Public Organizations can also apply through proper channel along with NOC of their department issued on its letterhead.
