Reko Diq Mining Company, operated by Barrick in collaboration with the Government of Balochistan and the Government of Pakistan, is recruiting highly skilled professionals for the development of its world-class copper-gold mining project in Balochistan.

Position:

Drafter and Data Controller

Department:

MRM - Survey

Location:

Reko Diq Site, Balochistan

Qualification:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in drafting, data management, and geospatial analysis.
• Proven expertise in earthworks calculations, road design, and geomatics workflows.

Requirements:

• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Global Mapper, and LIDAR analysis.
• Technical Skills:
  • Skilled in terrain modeling, volume calculations, drainage design, and geospatial data management.
  • Experience with database tools such as Excel, Access, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with survey workflows and data integration.
• Core Competencies:
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High focus on accuracy and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily survey data, maps, and drawings to support field teams, ensuring data accuracy and project alignment.
• Develop technical drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, including earthworks, road alignments, and site layouts.
• Generate terrain models, process survey data, and perform earthwork calculations and geospatial analysis.
• Manage datasets, conduct quality checks, and collaborate with teams to integrate data into design plans.
• Ensure compliance and accurate documentation of project data.
